Leeds United fans have been reacting to claims regarding Stuart Dallas after his performance against Manchester City at the weekend.
In arguably one of the more surprising games of the Premier League season, two goals from the Northern Irishman saw the ten men of Leeds United stun Pep Guardiola’s champions-elect at the Etihad, his second coming in stoppage time at the end of the game.
The incredibly versatile Dallas has played 223 games for Leeds United since he signed for the club in the summer of 2015, and according to insider Phil Hay, there could be a lot more of them on the way.
Speaking during a Q&A for The Athletic after the game, Hay says he doesn’t “think it will be long” until the 29-year-old is offered a new contract at the club. His words were relayed to supporters on the Leeds Insider Facebook page, where there were a number of fans delighted to hear the news:
Is Stuart Dallas still underrated?
Yes
No
It seems this will give Dallas and the club more opportunity to create more fantastic memories like they did on Saturday.
