Many Leeds United fans have been reacting to some footage of defender Diego Llorente whilst on international duty.
The Spaniard, who signed for the club last summer in an £18m deal, hasn’t had the best time when it comes to playing time this season, only making six starts in a campaign, but he has certainly made the most of his opportunities when he has played. He’s currently averaging 2.4 tackles, 1.3 interceptions and 1.4 aerial duels wins on a per-game basis, according to WhoScored.
But it looks as if he’s pretty nifty in attack as well, as this clip from him in training shows, as he tucks a neat finish into the top corner, even factoring in for a bobble from an errand cone. And it was enough to get plenty of Leeds fans pretty enthusiastic, with some cheekily suggesting that he could start up front for them this weekend against Sheffield United:
“Best CB in the league”

Yes
No
Now we know what he’s capable of, let’s wait to see if he can do it during a game at some point.
