Leeds United supporters have been reacting on Twitter after Robin Koch posted a picture of himself following another substitute appearance.

The German international made another cameo off the Leeds bench in their 2-1 victory over Sheffield United on Saturday as he steps up his recovery from injury.

Koch suffered a serious knee injury against Chelsea at the start of December and is yet to make another start for the Elland Road outfit since, however, the 24-year-old is closing in on his 16th start of the season.

The former Freiburg centre-back joined Marcelo Bielsa’s men in a £13m move over the summer and started the club’s first 11 Premier League games of the season before picking up the injury.

Despite only making a handful of appearances for his new club, it appears as though Koch made a big impression in west Yorkshire, and the supporters were delighted to see him back in action.

After collecting three points over the weekend, Leeds have surpassed the 40-point mark and Koch, who is valued at £15.3 million (as per Transfermarkt), should be able to ease himself back into first-team action without any pressure.
