Leeds United supporters have been reacting on Twitter after Robin Koch posted a picture of himself following another substitute appearance.
Koch suffered a serious knee injury against Chelsea at the start of December and is yet to make another start for the Elland Road outfit since, however, the 24-year-old is closing in on his 16th start of the season.
The former Freiburg centre-back joined Marcelo Bielsa’s men in a £13m move over the summer and started the club’s first 11 Premier League games of the season before picking up the injury.
Despite only making a handful of appearances for his new club, it appears as though Koch made a big impression in west Yorkshire, and the supporters were delighted to see him back in action.
“Nice to see your back on the pitch let’s keep you injury free for the run in”
“You are a hell of a baller Robin! So lucky to have you and can’t wait to cheer you on at Elland Road”
“Yes Robin!.. can’t wait to see you match fit and back in the starting 11.”
“Good to see you back, onwards and upwards ALAW”
“Can’t wait to see you back at your best”
After collecting three points over the weekend, Leeds have surpassed the 40-point mark and Koch, who is valued at £15.3 million (as per Transfermarkt), should be able to ease himself back into first-team action without any pressure.
