Bundesliga expert Daniel Pinder has waxed lyrical about Everton target Silas Wamangituka in an exclusive interview with This Is Futbol.

The Toffees have been linked with the Stuttgart star, who is a remarkably versatile presence.

Wamangituka, who is valued at £22.5m by Transfermarkt, has played primarily as a right wing-back this season but he can also play on the right wing or up front.

And he has been linked with a move to Goodison Park, while Fulham are also said to hold an interest in potentially signing the speedy star.

He has enjoyed some exceptional displays this season and has scored 11 goals in the Bundesliga, while also providing five assists.

Pinder, the editor-in-chief of Get German Football News, thinks he has all the talent in the world, but he believes his hopes of a summer transfer may have been scotched by a serious injury sustained against Bayern Munich.

Indeed, he is expected to miss the rest for the season, placing any move in serious doubt.

Speaking exclusively to TIF, Pinder said: “Silas Wamangituka is a player that I like a lot, he’s probably one of my favourite players in the Bundesliga at the minute.

“He’s very unique, for Stuttgart he plays right wing-back in a 3-4-2-1 formation. In that position he’s scored 11 goals and created five in 25 games, so I think those stats alone for a right wing-back, it’s unheard of.

“Unfortunately, he picked up a ligament injury against Bayern last month and he’s out for the season now, which could affect a summer transfer.”
