To kick off this quiz on Seamus Coleman, what squad number does the right-back currently wear for the Toffees?

One of the topics that he spent some time on was the fitness of Abdoulaye Doucoure after Carlo Ancelotti provided an update on the Frenchman’s condition, with Doucoure potentially edging closer to a return.

The former Watford man has missed the last three league games, and O’Neil thinks that it will be a big boost if Doucoure can return before the end of the season.

He said: (15:01) “I think that was one thing that probably took a lot of Evertonians by surprise because I think when he picked up the injury, Carlo said ‘eight to ten weeks’.

“I think we all thought that was [the] season over for the lad. I think now the fact that Carlo has given everyone a glimmer of hope; it’s interesting.

(15:54) “Hopefully, if he does get back for the final few games of the season, they’ll be games that we still [have something] riding on [and] we still need to win.

“[His presence] should give us a massive boost in [those] games.”

TIF Thoughts on Doucoure…

The Frenchman has made 25 Premier League appearances this season in which he has scored two goals and provided a further three assists.

However, without him in the side, Everton have not won a single league game, so you can see that they do miss his influence and the quicker they get him back in the side, the better.

Carlo Ancelotti’s latest comments suggested that Doucoure was edging closer to a return, and we would like to see him back in this Everton side as they continue their push to get in either the top four or the top six.
