Leeds have had some odd players over the last ten years but how well do you remember them. Starting with the most recent one, who is this?

One of the topics that he spent a lot of time on was Rodrigo amid rumours that he is unhappy at Elland Road.

The Spaniard posted on Instagram denying these rumours, and Hay seems to believe that Rodrigo is settled with life in Leeds, although he was frustrated to miss the last Spain squad.

He said: “I’ve spoken to Leeds about him; they’ve always given the impression that he’s settled pretty well, or settled as well as you can in the circumstances.

“This is not because of the pandemic and travel restrictions, this is not an easy time to move countries, not an easy time to jump from one league to another and to go from, say Spain to England, because it’s difficult for your family to visit you; it’s difficult for you to stay in touch with them.

“I know that one of the frustrations he’s having at the moment is the fact that he wasn’t in the last Spain squad, and that will obviously cast doubt over whether he’s going to make the Euros in the summer and the announcement on that will come around soon enough, but it’s been difficult for him this season.”

TIF Thoughts on Rodrigo…

The Spaniard was signed for £27m from Valencia, and he has made 22 first-team appearances for the Whites in all competitions, scoring three goals and providing one assist.

He has had injuries and suffered from health issues, which you would think can’t have helped him settle in.

However, judging by his own post on social media and Hay’s information, the Spaniard is rather happy at Leeds.

Next season, we hope that he can improve and show Leeds fans why their club paid the money they did to sign him.
