Leeds United fans on Twitter have been sharing their criticism for Helder Costa and his latest display for the Whites during their Premier League showdown against Manchester United.

Leeds’ previous Premier League match saw them rescue a point from Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side after a late goal from Diego Llorente cancelled out Sadio Mane’s first-half strike to end the game 1-1.

Starting with an easy one who is Leeds United's top Premier League goalscorer this season?

This time around, Marcelo Bielsa’s side welcomed the Red Devils to Elland Road, who managed to beat Burnley in their previous league outing at Old Trafford.

During the match, lots of Leeds fans were not happy with what they were seeing from Costa, which led to many of them taking to Twitter to share their thoughts and opinions.

So, what did these Leeds fans have to say about Costa and his performance against Man United?

I’m genuinely unsure what Costa offers us. Never runs his man, doesn’t seem to demand the ball, a completely wasted player right now #lufc

Leeds signed Costa on a permanent deal from fellow Premier League side Wolves back in the previous summer transfer window for a fee of £15.93 million after the 27-year-old spent the previous season on loan at the Yorkshire club.

Looking at these tweets from this group of Leeds fans, it seems that they were not best pleased with Costa’s efforts against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men.

Judging by these comments, unless the winger can make the most out of any opportunities he may get between now and the end of the season for Leeds, he could well find his place in the team, or even the club, in jeopardy.
