Supporters of Leeds United have been reacting to a post on Twitter after it showed Sky Sports presenter Jeff Stelling light-heartedly mocking Kris Boyd for his previous comments on Marcelo Bielsa’s men.
The West Yorkshire outfit have surpassed many people’s expectations with their performances this season and are currently sitting comfortably in ninth position in the Premier League table.
After winning promotion from the Championship last season, ending a 16-year absence from the English top-flight, former Rangers and Scotland striker Boyd claimed Leeds were ‘overhyped’, underachieving and had spent too much money, something Stelling was quick to point out after their recent victory over Manchester City.
Leeds followed up their impressive victory at the Etihad Stadium with a dull 0-0 draw with fierce rivals Manchester United over the weekend, but fans of the Elland Road outfit appeared to be entertained by the presenter’s onslaught.

Ally McCoist was quick to jump in and reassure everyone that Boyd was on his own with those views, and we’re sure others won’t be so quick to write Leeds off in the future after their excellent first season back in the Premier League.
