A lot of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to voice their thoughts at a video posted by the former Leeds player Sebastien Carole.

The video showed the 38-year-old’s son playing for Leeds U18s and scoring a stunning solo effort in their game against Derby County on Tuesday afternoon.

Leeds ran out 4-3 victors on the day with two goals in stoppage time earning them a stunning comeback from 3-2 down and three valuable points as they sit second-bottom of the table.

However, it was Carole’s goal that caught the attention of the Leeds fans with many taking to Twitter to show their excitement at the young prospect.

“Lovely footwork, exceptional finish by the young man.”

The 16-year-old has now played 17 times for the U18 squad this season, but the goal against Derby was just his second of the season in the Premier League.

Carole’s father played for Leeds from 2006 until 2008 and racking up 48 appearances and three goals for the Yorkshire side in that time (via Transfermarkt).

All in all, it is clear the Leeds fans seem excited by the young prospect and the goal he scored on Tuesday against Derby certainly caught their attention with many commenting on his neat footwork in the build-up to the goal.
