Leeds United fans have been reacting to a photo of midfielder Kalvin Phillips that he posted on social media.
It has been an incredible season for the 25-year-old, racking up 23 starts in the Premier League for his boyhood club, and making strides for the national team as well, making 7 appearances for Gareth Southgate’s side and leaving some people convinced that he will be part of the squad for this summer’s European Championship.
It’s no surprise then that after such an incredible season, not just for him but also the club as well, that it doesn’t take a lot for fans to be willing to show their love for him, which is exactly what they did when Phillips posted this rather artistic photo on his Twitter feed:
“Leeds fan 30 years. You are doing us all proud Kalvin.”
You just wonder if this level of love-in would be going on if they were having a season like West Bromwich Albion and struggling to stay in the league?
