Leeds United supporters have been reacting on Twitter after Patrick Bamford’s poor performance in their 2-1 victory over Sheffield United.
The Elland Road outfit secured all three points in their Yorkshire derby with the Blades, but their top scorer came under fire from several sections of the club’s fanbase.
Bamford has bagged an impressive 14 Premier League goals for Marcelo Bielsa’s men this season, but couldn’t find his shooting boots for the visit of Sheffield United.
Fortunately for the Chelsea academy graduate, Jack Harrison’s first-half strike and a Phil Jagielka own goal were enough to move Leeds past the 40-point mark, but Bamford’s underwhelming display didn’t go unnoticed by the supporters.
