Leeds have been reacting to a ‘’ image that is apparently giving them a sneak peek into what they might be wearing next season.

It’s that time of the season again where some people start to look ahead to the next campaign, something that can do with ease given their position in the table, and with that comes the fun and joy that is ‘concept kits’ and ‘leaked kits’.

This one falls in the latter category, as the website Footy Headlines has posted what appears to be Leeds United’s third ahead of the 2021/22 Premier League campaign, with the club seemingly going for two shades of purple as their colour palette of choice.

It certainly is a unique choice, with Leeds having never had a purple shirt in their history, and when the design was shown to fans on social media via @TheSquareBall, there were certainly plenty of fans that were excited by the proposed idea:

“Excellent. Imperial purple. Can’t wait to see Emperor Patricius Bamfordus tearing defences apart in this very tasty gear.”

“Ooooft yes please”
“Oh lord, please give me that purple I’ve been dreaming about for years.”
“That looks like a potential banger!!”
“Would actually be buzzing, top tier colour that”
“Absolutely all in on this”

Do you think Leeds should sign a midfielder this summer?

Yes

Now we wait and see what else the club possibly have cooking when it comes to kits for the club next season.
