Leeds United supporters have been reacting on Facebook after a report emerged linking Sergio Aguero with a move to the club this summer.
The Manchester City striker is set to depart the Etihad Stadium after 10 trophy-laden years with the current league leaders when his contract expires at the end of the current campaign.
Several of the continent’s top clubs have been linked with a move for the South American, including the likes of Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea, but a move to Leeds is also reportedly on the cards.
According to Eurosport, the Elland Road outfit are interested in the 32-year-old, and a move to Marcelo Bielsa’s men is not as unlikely as some may presume, and after MOT Leeds News relayed the information, the fans of the West Yorkshire outfit appear to be excited by the potential arrival of a top-class talent.
If Leeds do manage to sign Aguero this summer, they’ll be getting their hands on a proven goalscorer for free, despite the Argentina international still being valued at £22.5m (as per Transfermarkt) thanks to his contract situation.
