A lot of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to voice their thoughts on the comments from Sheffield United’s Ben Osborn following their game on Saturday afternoon.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side ran out 2-1 victors at Elland Road and the three points saw United earn a place in the top half of the table – albeit 11th-placed Aston Villa have two games in hand and are only one point adrift.

Following the game, the Blades’ goalscorer, Ben Osborn, spoke of his disappointment after losing the game with the midfielder feeling they made some questionable decisions during the game.

He told BBC Sport (via Yorkshire Evening Post): “There were times in the game where we felt we were playing well but we let them off the hook with a bad decision or a bad pass and they would break on us, which they are really good at, and it would give them momentum back to them.”

A goal from Jack Harrison provided Bielsa’s side with the lead within 12 minutes and their lead was quickly restored after half time with an own-goal from Phil Jagielka (via BBC Sport).

“What can you say? He can’t be serious”

Leeds dominated the match stats having had 23 shots to Sheffield United’s nine, with the away side’s only shot on target being their equalising goal just before half time (via WhoScored).

All in all, it is evident the Leeds fans did not agree with what Osborn had to say, however, as they now sit in the top half of the table we’re sure they will not hold a grudge for too long.
