A lot of Leeds United fans have rushed to comment on a post from Ezgjan Alioski after he helped his country, North Macedonia, beat Germany in their World Cup qualifying group.
The 29-year-old played the full 90 minutes to earn his 41st cap for his country, and his post stated that it was a “night to remember” and includes two pictures from the match.
This post drew the attention of these Leeds fans who heaped praise on Alioski.
“Well done Ezgjan. I hope you stay at Leeds but fully understand if you leave for any other club. Your humour and effort on the pitch has been truly appreciated. Always welcome back in Leeds. A true legend of the city.”
“Great win Alioski Keep up the good work”
“What an amazing victory!”
Do you think Alioski will stay?
Yes, I am sure he will
No, he will leave
Alioski’s contract at Elland Road expires at the end of the season, and he has been heavily linked with a move to Galatasaray, but it seems as if that has been ignored by these Leeds fans for now, who continued to pile praise on Alioski.
“Congrats Gjanni!!! Forever a Leeds legend”
“Brilliant result .”
“Great result. Now please please please sign for Leeds”
It will be interesting to see what happens in the summer when Alioski’s contract expires, but we hope he stays at Leeds.
