Leeds United fans on Facebook have been sharing their thoughts on Whites attacker Rodrigo, his move to Elland Road and his time at the club so far.
This comes after Leeds United Live shared a post on their official Facebook page that contained one of their articles that relayed comments made by Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa on Rodrigo and his current fitness situation.
Bielsa said that the Spaniard was not included in the Leeds squad for their recent Premier League win over Manchester City because he “had a problem” in their previous training session prior to the 2-1 win at the Etihad Stadium.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Leeds fans who were not shy in sharing their thoughts on this latest update and their overall thoughts on Rodrigo and his time at Elland Road so far.
So, what did these Leeds fans have to say in response to this latest post about Rodrigo?
Leeds signed Rodrigo back in the previous summer transfer window from Spanish club Valencia for a fee of £27 million. Since his arrival at Elland Road, the 30-year-old, who is currently valued at £18 million, has made 21 appearances for Leeds in the Premier League in which he has managed to score three goals and provide one assist along the way (per Transfermarkt).
Should Leeds sell Rodrigo this summer?
Given how Rodrigo has had his struggles with injuries and the fact that he has only managed to play a full 90 minutes in the Premier League on just four occasions, it’s understandable why these Leeds fans may not feel Rodrigo is completely reliable and that he should be sold this summer.
In our view, unless the Spaniard wishes to leave the club this summer, then Leeds shouldn’t think about letting him go just based on his debut season.
