The Northern Ireland international has been one of Leeds’ best players since their promotion, despite this being his debut season in the Premier League.
Could Stuart Dallas leave Leeds this summer?
Dallas has missed just nine minutes of Premier League football this season, and his stunning last-gasp winner against Manchester City earlier this month was his seventh goal of the campaign – meaning only Patrick Bamford has scored more for the Whites this season.
The defender’s performances will no doubt have some of the top-six sides keeping a close eye on him, but Gillespie doesn’t believe Leeds will have any problems keeping Dallas, who he thinks is more than happy at Elland Road.
He told This is Futbol:
“Stuart Dallas’ rise has been incredible from where he came from – Crusaders Irish league football. He’s the first name on the teamsheet with Leeds.
“You just know what you’re going to get from him, his energy levels, and he’s popped up with quite a few goals this season.
“Could he go to a top-six club? I just think he’s happy where he is. He’s in a club where the manager loves him and the fans love him.”
Dallas will be looking to help Leeds to another positive result against Manchester United this weekend.
