An easy one to kick off our quiz on the 2020 summer transfer window in the , which player left Birmingham City to join Borussia Dortmund?

One of the main topics that he spent some time on was Derby County’s proposed takeover by No Limits Sports with Erik Alonso fronting the bid.

However, there appears to be some confusion over where the money is coming from and if Alonso can even own the club himself.

Maguire mentioned on Monday’s edition of the podcast that Raja Sapta Oktohari could be the man providing the money for this deal.

Alonso also describes himself as an agent, and agents aren’t allowed to own English football clubs.

So, we can see why Maguire is both confused and concerned.

He said: (16:38) “So what is the position of his agency? So it adds to the degrees of confusion. Is he just there a frontman for a consortium?

“Will it actually be that the money is coming from other sources? We did discuss this on Sunday that there is potential Indonesian investment, but that’s not guaranteed. It’s all very confusing.”

Are you now starting to worry about the takeover?

TIF Thoughts on the takeover…

The club officially confirmed that they had agreed a deal for No Limits Sports to buy the club, and they were just awaiting EFL confirmation, but it seems as if there are legitimate concerns about where the money is coming from and also Alonso’s eligibility to own a club.

The Rams have already had one takeover saga end badly with BZG, and Maguire is clearly at least confused about this latest attempt to buy the club.

It will be interesting to see what happens over the coming days and weeks regarding this takeover and if Alonso will actually complete this deal to buy the club.
