Celtic fans have been discussing Leigh Griffiths and his future at the club following reports that he could be on his way out of the club.
Griffiths, valued at £1.35m on Transfermarkt, has had a tough time this season when it comes to getting into the first-team, whether it be through injury or just not being deemed important enough by managers Neil Lennon and John Kennedy, indeed he’s only played 7 minutes since the latter’s appointment back at the end of February.
His time at the club though could be about to come to an end very soon though, as a report from The Sunday Post has claimed that Aberdeen are looking at bringing in the 30-year-old forward this summer.
And when the news was relayed to the fans via the Glasgow Celtic Champions Facebook page, there didn’t seem to be a lot of fans that were too keen on keeping hold of him, wanting him gone from the club:
Will Celtic sell Griffiths in the summer?
With 18 months left on his contract, if the club are to cash in on him, this summer is the best time to do it, so it will be interesting to see which way this story goes.
