Celtic fans have been reacting to footage posted by defender Christopher Jullien as he continues his recovery from injury.

The French defender suffered a knee injury during their game against Dundee United back in January, with an initial diagnosis suggesting that he would be out for the best part of four months.

Last week, he posted footage of him walking without the use of crutches, although still wearing a rather chunky protective knee brace. This week, he’s gone one step further, posting footage of himself taking part in some very light exercises as his progress towards first-team football gets closer to being a reality.

And there were plenty of Celtic fans who were on hand to offer him words of encouragement and talk about how badly he has been missed these past few weeks:

“Missed you this season big man your obviously the gel that holds our backline together hopefully see you soon but don’t rush it better late than sidelined again”

“Sorely missed Christopher. Keep up the hard work and we can’t wait to welcome you back to Paradise when you’re fighting for again”
“Keep up the great work and see you next season”
“The team has missed this hunger and desire all season, road to recovery will be trampled by big Chris”
“Missed him so much”
“Baby step @Chri6ViF ….come back strong as you have been badly missed this season”
“Amazing CJ keep going”

Is Christopher Jullien Celtic's best defender?

Yes, he definitely is

Yes, he definitely is

No, I wouldn't say so

No, I wouldn't say so

The sooner he gets back, the sooner he can put himself forward as a contender to be part of the team for next season, regardless of who is in charge.
