Loads of Celtic supporters have been left fuming at Ryan Christie’s performance for Scotland against Israel.

Scotland recently held Israel to a 1-1 draw in the World Cup qualifying rounds. Israel did score first through Dor Peretz but Steve Clarke’s men equalised in the second half through Ryan Fraser, who was assisted by Che Adams (as per Whoscored).

While Christie hadn’t started the game, the Celtic man came on for teammate Jack Hendry in the second half.

Scotland’s only goal of the game came about ten minutes after Christie came on. Before this game, they had managed to hold Austria to a 2-2 draw, thanks to goal from Grant Hanley and John McGinn. Christie had grabbed one assist in that game, helping the Aston Villa man to score (as per Whoscored).

How much do you think members of the Bhoys' squad are worth according to Transfermarkt? Starting with an easy one how much do you think Odsonne Edouard is worth?

The 26-year-old picked up a rating of 6.82 against the Israelis, even though he came on after the first 45 minutes.

A lot of these Celtic supporters have been left raging by Christie’s performance on Sunday and some don’t want him to stay at Parkhead any longer.

Christie’s contract at the club runs out in the summer of 2022, meaning that if he doesn’t sign an extension, the upcoming summer window could be Celtic’s best chance of getting a fee from his sale.

There has been interest from Burnley and Nice, which shows that there won’t be any shortage of interest. So if Christie does want to leave, it would be sensible for the Hoops to sell him in the summer.
