Many Celtic supporters have been talking about Paul John Dykes’ latest tweet that emerged on social media.
Celtic pundit Dykes posted about the structure that Celtic may have next season. In what appeared to be a prediction as to what the makeup of the Hoops’ backroom could look like in 2021/22, he mentioned Fergal Harkin as director of football and Roy Keane as manager. As Keane’s assistant manager, he put forward the name of Nicky Butt, who has recently left Manchester United’s coaching staff.
Do you want Nicky Butt at Celtic?
Yes
No
Dykes’ tweet about the potential structure at Celtic drew the attention of many Hoops fans, who made their views clear about it.
What do Celtic fans make of the club’s structural idea?
“Roy Keane! We’re a world-renowned club, not a vanity project for Irish sponsors. Why not an actual accomplished Manager with ambition and credentials. We’re looking at unemployed failures. Sorry PJ, this isn’t for me.“

It has been reported that Celtic have opened talks with Keane to make him their new manager and discussions are underway. This followed claims that Celtic are also close to hiring a new director of football and that could be Harkin, who would arrive for Manchester City.
Butt has worked at various levels at Old Trafford and was more recently the Director of Development at the club.
“No thanks. Torrent or Maresca as head coach. Let them bring in their own staff. Loved Keane as a player and a pundit I don’t think he’s is what we need to move forward!“

“No, absolutely not and get that In the bin please before anyone sees it.”

A lot of these Celtic fans would be against the idea of having this sort of structure at Parkhead.
Keane hasn’t managed a club in over ten years. On top of that, Butt has never plied his trade away from Man Utd in his career.
So in that sense, it could be a risky move for the Bhoys and because of that, it may be best if Celtic opted for something else.
