Kevin Graham has been speaking on the latest edition of the A Celtic State of Mind podcast about all things relating to Celtic.

Which club did Brown join Celtic from?

One of the main points that Graham talked about was potential replacements for Neil Lennon after the Northern Irishman resigned as first-team manager last week.

John Kennedy has stepped up to fill in and has been linked with taking the job on permanently, but it seems as if Graham wants to see the Bhoys rebuild.

He said: “For me, for the last two years, we’ve had the wrong people making the wrong decisions.

“We now need to bring in guys who can take us forward, can take us to the next level, which is a European level.

“I am not going to say John Kennedy’s that man.

“There were positives in that first half [against Aberdeen], even though the second half was absolutely rotten.”

Would you like to see Kennedy come in as permanent manager?

TIF Thoughts on Kennedy becoming Celtic’s next boss…

Kennedy has been at Celtic for a long time as both a player and at various coaching levels.

So, you would think he knows the club; however, it seems clear that Graham is unconvinced that Kennedy would be the right man to become the Bhoys’ next manager.

Given that he has only ever managed one first-team game, perhaps he doesn’t have the experience required to take on the role, and with the likes of Eddie Howe linked, we feel that the Bhoys could probably attract a bigger name than Kennedy.

However, we will be intrigued to see how he does in the remaining games of the season and if Celtic finish strongly, then maybe he would become a stronger contender.
