Celtic supporters have been reacting to a post on Facebook after a report revealed Olivier Ntcham is set to return to the club this summer.

The former France Under-21 international made the controversial switch to Ligue 1 giants Marseille in January, leading to former OM manager Andre Villas-Boas offering his resignation before being sacked after stating he’d never wanted to sign the 25-year-old.

Marseille have the option to make Ntcham’s loan deal permanent for £4.5m in the upcoming transfer window, however, according to French outlet La Provence, they are not likely to do so, meaning the midfielder will return to Celtic Park.

Ntcham has made just three starts for his new side, but poor performances have seen Jorge Sampaoli hook him off at half time on each occasion, leaving his chances of a long-term stay at the Stade Velodrome hanging by a thread.

The former Manchester City man has upset Hoops fans in the past, claiming he deserves to play for a bigger club, and it seems as though large sections of the supporters would be unwilling to welcome him back.

With Ntcham’s previous comments about the club, it’s no wonder the supporters aren’t keen to see the Frenchman make a return this summer.
