Celtic fans have been reacting to the latest claims regarding who could be the next manager of the club.
According to a report from TEAMtalk, intermediaries representing the Scottish side have contacted West Ham United boss David Moyes to see if he would be willing to take on the vacant job in the summer following Neil Lennon’s resignation a few weeks ago.
Moyes is arguably back to his best following an incredible year at the London Stadium in which he has got the Hammers on the verge of European football and it looks as if Celtic are looking to strike while the iron is hot in their attempts to make a serious challenge at the league title next season.
There is also the added factor to consider that Moyes played for the club early on in his career, which might sway his decision somewhat.
And when the news was relayed to the fans on the Celtic Insider Facebook page, there was plenty of excitement to go around with many fans hopeful that a deal could be struck:
Would you take Moyes at Celtic?
Yes, he would be a good manager
No, I don't want him
With his contract not set to run out until next year, it certainly wouldn’t be easy for them to get him if they were to make a serious run for his services.
