How much do you think members of the Bhoys' squad are worth according to Transfermarkt? Starting with an easy one how much do you think Odsonne Edouard is worth?

The article claims that Keane “would consider an offer” to become the new permanent manager at Celtic.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Hoops fans, who were quick to share their thoughts on this latest update.

So, what did these Celtic fans have to say about the possibility of Keane becoming the new Hoops manager?

Different job without Lawwell, if he wants it that’s good enough for me. Celtic should not be begging or asking anyone, #hereWe”

@JONNYBHOY07

“I’ll take him”

@jackpaterson27

“I would 100% take”

@nathancadger

“Take him in a heartbeat”

@joe_caldwell84

“Yaaaaaaaaasssssss Keano, Keano, Keano”

@pauliewalnuts67

“I personally think he could be a good manager, he seems 2 have calmed down a lot of late and working with Martin O’Neill could have been good 4 him, could be the type of manager we need at moment but not many other Celtic fans will be happy with this but this is only my opinion”

Keane ended his career with a short spell at Celtic before retiring and starting his managerial career.

Since becoming a manager, Keane has had spells at Sunderland and Ipswich Town as well as periods as assistant manager with Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest and the Ireland national team (per Transfermarkt).

Would you be happy to see Roy Keane as Celtic's new manager?

No

Looking at the replies to this post, it appears that these Celtic fans would be happy to see the 49-year-old take over at Parkhead for next season.

In our view, given how Keane has knowledge of the club from his time as a player there as well as a significant amount of managerial experience under his belt, we think he could be a good fit at the club if given the chance to take them forward in their next campaign.
