Celtic fans have been reacting to news that Michael O’Neill could be the man that will replace Neil Lennon in the dugout.

The Hoops are currently without a permanent boss following the resignation of Neil Lennon last week, and whilst John Kennedy has been put in temporary charge, it looks as if the club are looking for someone from outside to take charge in the future.

According to a report from GiveMeSport, the Stoke City boss is a man that is on their radar as they “would consider talking to him should they get an indication the 51-year-old would be interested.” But when the news reached fans on the Read Celtic Facebook page, there didn’t seem to be too much enthusiasm at the idea of him taking over:

Will Celtic have their new boss in place by the end of the season?

O’Neill’s last job before taking over at Stoke was with Northern Ireland, where he managed to end their 30-year tournament drought, and he’ll need to work similar miracles to get Celtic back to the top of the table after the season they’re going through.
