A lot of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to hail the return of James Forrest from injury ahead of the Old Firm derby on Sunday

The Scottish winger has been sidelined for four months after an ankle injury forced the 29-year-old into having surgery which only prolonged his return to action.

However, the winger came off the bench in the 0-0 draw with Dundee United on the weekend and played the final 12 minutes of the game John Kennedy eases him back into the side.

With the winger now on the road back into the starting XI, Celtic fans reacted to a video interview with Forrest on the Celtic Twitter account.

“This wee man has been so badly missed, would go as far as to say losing him this season cost us 10IAR, he’s that vital a player.”
