TIF Thoughts on Fraser Forster…

In the current campaign, Celtic have used as many as three different – Vasilis Barkas, Scott Bain and Conor Hazard (as per WhoScored). This clearly shows that there is uncertainty about that position right now, even though Barkas arrived in the summer for a fee of £2.95 million.

Forster had impressed at Celtic in the loan spell last season, saving penalties against in the League Cup final and against Copenhagen in the Europa League. He had made the goalkeeping position his own, making 28 Premiership appearances.

Considering that he impressed at Parkhead and the uncertainty surrounding the club’s current situation in goal, it is easy to see why Donnelly wants Forster back at the club.
