How much do you think members of the Bhoys' squad are worth according to Transfermarkt? Starting with an easy one how much do you think Odsonne Edouard is worth?

On the subject of Griffiths and whether or not he will still be at the club for next season, Joseph had this to say on the matter. (1.12.30)

He said: “I thought when he came back into the squad around the mid-time this season, this was him going to be back in and [Odsonne] Edouard and Griffiths will play up front together, he’ll get a few goals and he’ll be Scotland’s number one striker at the Euros because he is Scotland’s best striker.

“I mean, there’s still a good few years left in Leigh Griffiths at Celtic if he wants it to be and I think it’s all about can he get the right mindset to go out and have the same motivation to go and play and score goals again? And is he getting enough help to do so as well?

“Is he going to be at Celtic [next season]? I hope he is, and I think he will be.”

Celtic signed Griffiths back in the 2014 January transfer window from Premier League side Wolves for a fee of £1.13 million. Since then, the 30-year-old, who is currently valued at £1.35 million, has made 255 appearances for the Hoops across all competitions in which he has racked up a total of 122 goals and 51 assists along the way (per Transfermarkt).

Back in December 2018, Griffiths took a step away from playing games with Celtic for a period of time after struggling with his mental health (per BBC Sport).

Given how Griffiths managed to score five goals and provide two assists in the 17 SPFL appearances he made this season shows that he still has a lot to give for the team in an attacking sense.

Taking into account the striker’s struggles in recent years, he will have to make the decision on what he feels is best for him, whether that’s playing football at Celtic or not, however, it should be reassuring for the Hoops fans to hear that Joseph thinks he will remain at the club moving forward.
