Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting on Twitter after a post revealed Juventus striker Paulo Dybala has been linked with the club once again.
However, according to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport, the South American forward has now been put up for sale by Juve, with Tottenham one of the clubs willing to make an offer for the £54m-rated man (as per Transfermarkt).
The former Palermo attacker has only featured 16 times for the Old Lady this season, scoring just three goals, but the news of Dybala’s potential arrival has clearly got large sections of the north London outfit’s supporters excited:
“This would be a marquee signing btw”
“im on my kneeesssssssss”
“Get him in when Bale goes, we should be able to afford his salary from Bale’s cut”
“He’s my favourite player and I really really hope that he comes to Tottenham.”
“why wait? get him now”
“He has hardly featured this season but has been pretty good when he did”
Jose Mourinho’s men face an uphill struggle to finish inside the Champions League places in the current campaign, however, securing the signature of a talent like Dybala could go some way to softening the blow should they fall short.
