Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting on Twitter after being linked to Juventus forward Paulo Dybala.

According to France Football (via Sport Witness), the Italian giants could be prepared to let the 27-year-old depart Turin this summer in order to raise funds for their own transfer targets.

The South American’s current contract expires in 2022, and therefore, the Old Lady will be forced to either tie Dybala down to a new deal or cash in on the attacker in the upcoming transfer window while they can still demand a sizeable fee.

It’s not been the best season for the Argentina international. A serious ligament injury sustained against Sassuolo has kept him out of action since mid-January, and the former Palermo man has just three goals and two assists to his name this term.

Nevertheless, his talent is undisputed and the report states that Spurs, and their local rivals Chelsea, would be willing to spend up to €55m (£47.4m) on Dybala as they look to bolster their forward lines ahead of the next campaign, something the Tottenham fans aren’t convinced by.

“GET IT DONE”

@XTOOOGO1

“I can’t deal with this rumor again. still sore from the first round.”

@COYS41

“Nonsense. We won’t spend that money on anyone unless Kane is going.”

@gavinspurs

“How? we don’t have money”

@marc3381

“That boat has sailed”

@Bartholemwhosav

“Don’t give me hope”

@RilindV3

It’s not the first time that the north London outfit have been linked with a move for Dybala, so it’s easy to understand why many fans are so sceptical this time around, but if Daniel Levy does manage to pull this off, it will arguably be one of the biggest signings in the club’s history based on his past achievements.
