Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to a video on Twitter showing their on-loan midfielder Oliver Skipp making a terrific last-minute block.
The 20-year-old put his body on the line to stop a last-minute shot from Brentford’s Tariqe Fosu with the Canaries clinging on to their 1-0 lead.
Skipp joined Norwich in the summer for a season-long loan, however, due to his incredible form with the Championship leaders, it was rumoured Spurs were considering an early recall for the midfielder.
The young midfielder has gone on to make an appearance in every game of the season for Norwich in the league this season
Some Spurs fans took to Twitter to indicate their excitement to see Skipp re-join Jose Mourinho’s squad next season, whilst others took the opportunity to highlight Harry Winks’ poor form.
The reaction from the Spurs fans is clearly a positive for Skipp; the youngster has excelled in his loan spell at Norwich and the Spurs fans want to see him back in N17 playing next season. However, the reaction is damning for Winks, with the Spurs fans hoping to see Skipp take his place in the squad next season.
