Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter have been sharing their criticism for Giovani Lo Celso and his latest performance for the north London club in their Premier League showdown against Aston Villa.

After losing 2-1 against Arsenal in their previous league fixture, followed by a disheartening 3-0 defeat against Dinamo Zagreb that took them out of the Europa League, Jose Mourinho’s side travelled to Birmingham to take on Villa, grabbing goals from Carlos Vinicius and Harry Kane’s penalty to take three points back to north London.

The 24-year-old, who is currently valued at £27 million, has recently returned from a hamstring injury that kept him out of action since December (per Transfermarkt).

Looking at these tweets from this group of Spurs fans, it’s clear to see that they were not happy with what they saw from the Argentine in the game against Dean Smith’s side.

Moving forward, the midfield man will have to try and put in a better performance in his next appearance for Spurs whenever he gets the chance to try and get these fans back on his side.

However, considering he has just returned from an injury, he probably needs some time – and patience from fans – to get back into the swing of things.
