Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to react to Alasdair Gold’s claim surrounding their on-loan midfielder, Oliver Skipp.
The 20-year-old joined Norwich City on loan last summer, and despite claims he could have been recalled by Spurs in January, he will see the season out with the Championship leaders.
Skipp has featured in all 36 of Norwich’s games in the Championship this season and the midfielder has earned the praise of his manager, Daniel Farke.
However, the Spurs fans were quick to react to Gold’s tweet regarding the future of the youngster, as the journalist relayed pleas from the Canaries fanbase to stay at Carrow Road beyond his current loan deal.
“No deal, however, they are more than welcome to Winks….”
Will Oliver Skipp start for Spurs next season?
Yes
No
It is clear to see from the reaction of the Spurs fans that they are not impressed by the thought of Skipp staying at Norwich for next season after the 20-year-old has had such an impressive campaign in the Championship.
