Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to news regarding Harry Kane’s future at the club by insider David Ornstein.
Following their loss to Dinamo Zagreb last week, there has been plenty of talk about whether or not the England captain will be willing to stay at the club long-term if he wants to win trophies and be a regular in the Champions League, given how precariously placed they are to falling short on that front in the league.
And speaking to Sky Sports over the weekend, Ornstein made the claim that Kane wants to leave the club, but that chairman Daniel Levy wouldn’t be willing to let him go for less than £120m.
Given his levels of production and importance to the club, it is obviously going to take a lot in order to convince Spurs to let him go, but when the news was relayed to them on social media, for one reason or another, they didn’t seem too convinced by the £120m price tag:
“Surely someone pays £120m. Imo he’s minimum £200m”
Do you think Daniel Levy would allow Harry Kane to leave Spurs?
Yes
No
It’s a move that would be the 5th highest transfer fee of all time according to Transfermarkt, but whether or not he’d be worth it is a different matter.
