Tottenham Hotspur supporters have been reacting on Twitter after Matt Doherty and Serge Aurier were linked with moves away from the club.
According to Football Insider, Doherty’s former side Wolves are keen on re-signing the Irishman over the summer, but only for less than the £16m fee they sold him for less than 12 months ago.
The 29-year-old has failed to nail down a first-team place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this season, making just 12 Premier League starts for Jose Mourinho’s men.
He’s largely been kept on the bench at times by former Paris Saint-Germain full-back Serge Aurier, however, a recent report in Foot Mercato claimed that Mauricio Pochettino is keen to bring the Ivory Coast international back to the French capital in the upcoming transfer window.
After seeing both of their current right-backs linked with moves away from north London, the Spurs supporters appeared to be open to both player’s departures.
“Both need to go in my opinion, bring Max Aarons in. I’m sure there will also be other money to play with to bring in another one. If not, Tanganga is perfectly capable of covering there.”

It’s really not working out for Doherty at Tottenham, as his underwhelming 6.71/10 WhoScored rating shows, while Aurier has often been found wanting defensively, so it’s easy to understand why these fans are keen to see the back of the pair.
