Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter revealing David Ornstein believes Harry Kane will see out the rest of his career as a Spurs player.
On the latest episode of The Ornstein and Chapman podcast (22:26), Ornstein claimed contacts from inside the north London outfit had told him they were confident that Kane will spend the rest of his playing days at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Atheltic reporter himself speculated earlier in the week that the England international would be ‘open’ to a move away from his boyhood club this summer but has now received new information regarding the 27-year-old’s future.
Kane has firmly established himself as a fan’s favourite since making his Tottenham debut back in 2011, bagging an incredible 215 goals in 327 appearances for Jose Mourinho’s men, and the Spurs supporters couldn’t hide their excitement at the latest update on his future.
“Tears down my face”
“Never in doubt”
“This is great news couldn’t give a rats about Bale. Let him leave and free a wage bill for someone who gives a damn.”
“Start building the statue now!”
“Not even joking, goosebumps reading this”
“Make him manager IMO”
“One of our own”
Tottenham have failed to win a single trophy since they lifted the League Cup in 2008, but it seems as though Kane is going to stay loyal to Spurs and stick with the side who gave him his chance in professional football.
