Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to vent their frustrations at Fabrizio Romano’s latest claim on Jose Mourinho’s future at the club.

Speaking on the latest edition of the Here We Go podcast, Romano stated Spurs do not have a break clause in Mourinho’s contract – contrary to Duncan Castles’ report on The Transfer Window.

Spurs suffered two huge defeats in the space of a week as they fell to local rivals Arsenal and then were sent crashing out of the Europa League in an embarrassing defeat away to Dinamo Zagreb.

And those defeats clearly have left a bitter taste in the mouths of the Spurs fans as they took to Twitter to voice their thoughts on Romano’s revelation.

“Sack him and pay him a lot of money or back him and get rid of deadwoods and sign better players the next coach you were gonna hire is going to try to get rid off anyways”

All in all, it is clear to see some Spurs fans are far from impressed by Levy’s reported decision to leave out such a clause in Mourinho’s contract especially since he was sacked prematurely from his previous job.
