Tottenham Hotspur fans have been begging for Jose Mourinho to start Carlos Vinícius during their game against Dinamo Zagreb tomorrow.

Spurs go into the second leg with a 2-0 advantage having won the first game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, so it’s not the most comfortable of leads for them to deal with, but certainly one that should be able to see them through without too many problems.

However, with the warning they were given by seeing Son Heung-min go down injured against Arsenal, there certainly is a discussion to be had on whether or not to rest some key players for the game in Croatia.

As a result, the Tottenham Hotspur – Football.London Facebook page posed the question of whether or not Vinícius, valued at £18m on Transfermarkt, should start the game, presumably in place of top scorer Harry Kane.

And it was a suggestion that received a pretty resounding ‘yes’ from the supporters, with fans pointing out it would be good for both him and Kane if he were to play:

Have you been impressed by Vinicius' performances for Spurs this season?

YES

NO

You can see where these fans are coming from – and at the very least, you can keep Kane on the bench in case things get desperate.
