Journalist Dean Jones has been speaking all things Premier League transfers ahead of the summer transfer window, which involved Tottenham Hotspur.

Jones mentioned interest from Mauricio Pochettino’s PSG being interested in landing the French national side captain this summer to bolster their already star-lined squad.

The Spurs captain has come under huge scrutiny over the last couple of months after making a few individual errors which have led to goals being conceded.

34-year-old Lloris will have just one year left in his Tottenham contract come the end of this season.

Jones said on the podcast that he believes PSG will make their move for the World Cup winner this summer as he thinks they will aim to find a new goalkeeper this summer.

“PSG are on the lookout for a new goalkeeper,” Jones said.

“Hugo Lloris is somebody that it seems like they’re going to go after. So I think he will definitely be linked with PSG for sure if he does leave, because it’s just an obvious link.”

TIF Thoughts on Jones’ Lloris comments…

Despite Spurs fans’ recent criticism of Lloris, he has kept two clean sheets in his last two games – which has taken his tally to 101 in the Premier League.

The Frenchman only has one year left on his Spurs contract, and after so many years with the club, it would be good to see Spurs keep hold of him for one more year so he can receive the send-off he deserves in front of the Spurs fans next season.
