Rudiger’s is due to expire next summer, and if talks were to stall, they claim that Spurs would look to pounce.

Rudiger has reminded the league of his qualities under new boss Thomas Tuchel.

Most recently, he impressed at Anfield as Chelsea shut out Liverpool for a memorable win.
