Test your knowledge of these Tottenham players' market values! How much do you think Hugo Lloris is worth?

It was confirmed on Tuesday that the Welshman had suffered an injury and would miss Wales’ upcoming games, and Mourinho commented on this, saying: “When a player plays injured to help his team to recover from two bad defeats, this can hapen [sic]. A man, a team player.”

This has drawn the attention of these Tottenham fans.

The hate our fanbase has for gentle Ben is disgusting. The man always puts a shift in and has been a professional throughout his time at the club. The replies to this”

Some Spurs fans feel like this was a dig aimed at Gareth Bale after the Welsh winger revealed that he intends to go back to Real Madrid next season and joined Spurs to get fit for Euro 2020.

Davies has played 38 games this season for Spurs, averaging a 6.56/10 rating in the league and a 6.87 rating in the Europa League (as per WhoScored), but judging by Mourinho’s comment, he is clearly a player that the former Chelsea boss is keen on.

This post continued to draw in Tottenham fans who had their say.

Jose sending shots lol – atmosphere at spurs must be so toxic right now”

@martinmach

“Oh he was already injured? Interesting. I mean true fair play to Davies for doing that when the team needed him. None of the goals on Thursday were his fault tbh. it was the right hand side that was the BIG issue”

@Spursylad10

It is unclear how long Davies will be out for, but it is clear that many Tottenham fans see this message as a dig at Bale.
