A lot of Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to react to Isaac Hayden’s first-half performance in their Premier League game against Aston Villa.
Before a ball had been kicked, the Magpies were sat in 16th-place and only one point ahead of 18th-placed Fulham but having played one less game than Scott Parker’s side (via Premier League).
However, Villa had only won one of their previous five Premier League games going into the game against Steve Bruce’s side which came at Elland Road in a 1-0 victory over Leeds United.
Hayden has featured 22 times for the Magpies this season in the league but has failed to find the net in the 1810 minutes he has played for Steve Bruce’s side (via Transfermarkt).
Newcastle signed Hayden for just under £3m from Arsenal, however, some fans were left far from impressed with his first-half display.
