A lot of Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to react to Jeff Hendrick’s performance in their game against West Bromwich Albion.

Hendrick was dragged off after 57 minutes by Steve Bruce and replaced by striker Dwight Gayle as the Magpies showed some attacking intent with three points on their mind.

Newcastle entered the game perilously close to 18th-placed Fulham and the relegation zone, with just three points separating the sides as the games begin to run out.

Sam Allardyce’s side are also struggling this season, with the Baggies second-bottom and nine points behind Steve Bruce’s Magpies before the game had started.

Hendrick has made 17 appearances for the Newscastle this season in the Premier League and has netted once in those appearances.

The 29-year-old signed for the Magpies from Burnley last summer on a free transfer, however, it seems the Newcastle fans still believe that was still too much for the midfielder.

You could take Hendrick off and not replace him and we would actually improve….#NUFC

“Hendrick should be investigated for impersonating a footballer.”
“Never start him again.”

It is clear to see the frustration from the Toon Army towards Hendrick following his sub-par performance in the game away at The Hawthorns they were delighted to see him substituted off before the hour-mark.
