In the caption to his post, Wilson said that he “can’t wait” to be back on the pitch with his Newcastle teammates after being out of action since he suffered a hamstring injury last month.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Toon fans who were quick to share their response to this latest post.

So, what did these Newcastle fans have to say in response to this latest Twitter post from Wilson?

Looking at the replies to this latest post from Wilson, it’s clear to see that these Toon fans are counting down the days until they can see the striker back on the pitch playing for their team.

Do you think Newcastle can avoid relegation if Wilson stays fit until the end of the season?

Yes

Yes

No

No

Taking into account how Wilson is Newcastle’s top goalscorer in the Premier League having scored 10 goals in 21 appearances, it’s understandable why these Toon fans would be over the moon to see the 29-year-old back playing.

With the Tyneside club currently two points ahead of the relegation zone with nine games left to play this season, if Wilson can pick up where he left off in terms of scoring goals, he will give the club a better chance of keeping their place in the top flight.
