These Newcastle United fans have been left enraged with some comments made by Steve Bruce ahead of their clash with Brighton and Hove Albion this weekend.
It is a pretty big game for both sides given their respective places in the table and almost certainly goes into the category of a ‘six-pointer’ as we approach the business end of the season, and Newcastle United may go into it with a little spring in their step following their last-minute draw against Aston Villa last Friday night.
And the spirit that they showed on Friday night is exactly what Bruce will want to see from his players again against the Seagulls in that important game down the bottom, as he’s quoted The Chronicle saying: “We look forward to next week and if we show the same spirit we will be OK.”
However, those words haven’t inspired much confidence in the Newcastle United fans when they had them relayed to them via The Chronicle’s Newcastle United Facebook page, as they ripped into their head coach:

Let’s just hope that his message has inspired the players more than it has the supporters, otherwise they’re in trouble.
