A lot of Newcastle United fans have flocked to a post from Keith Downie, which has relayed injury news regarding Miguel Almiron and Allan Saint-Maximin.
The pair were withdrawn during the Toon’s 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers, with both sent for scans, and it is bad news for Newcastle.
Both Almiron and Saint-Maximin have been ruled out until April, which means they will definitely miss the Toon’s next three league games.
This has drawn in these Newcastle fans, who feel like their club will now be relegated.
“We were likely to get relegated anyway. But this has sealed it. The unfortunate thing is Bruce now has a perfect excuse, and the media will lap it up.”
“We are all Doomed.”
“We are done absolutely gutted”
Do you think this means Newcastle are relegated now?
Yes, that is us done
No, we will still stay up
Newcastle currently sit in 17th place three points above Fulham, and in their next three matches, they play West Bromwich Albion, Brighton & Hove Albion and Aston Villa.
They represent a good chance for the Toon to win some points but with Saint-Maximin, Almiron, and Callum Wilson all missing those games, you would think Newcastle could struggle.
Certainly, these Toon fans can see only one outcome from this season.
“Time for Fraser to show how good he is … sick to my stomach lol”
“Well lads. Championship it is”
“We are knackered”
Almiron, Saint-Maximin and Wilson account for 16 of the Toon’s 27 league goals, so other players are going to have to step up, or the Toon could find themselves in deep trouble by the time this trio return.
