Leeds United fans have been reacting to the latest news coming out surrounding midfielder Adam Forshaw.
The 29-year-old, who signed for the club in a four-and-a-half-year deal back in the January window of 2018 and had established himself as something of a first-team regular, especially once Marcelo Bielsa arrived that following summer. However, he hasn’t been seen since a game against Charlton Athletic back in September 2019, as he recovers from a hip injury.
Speaking in his press conference today, (via @PhilHay_), Bielsa claimed that Forshaw was still on his way back from his injury, but that it is too soon for him to be involved in the U23 side, unlike Gaetano Berardi.
However, Leeds fans at this point just seemed ready to wash their hands of the whole affair as they didn’t see any point in sticking around and waiting for him to recover:
“Become a non-player now. No need for updates. Will pay him to end of his contract then likely will retire unfortunately”

In fairness, they have got this far without him, so maybe it is time just to cut things loose and move on and let him try and pursue the rest of his career elsewhere.
