Fans of Leeds United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which highlighted footage of on-loan Leeds midfielder Alfie McCalmont in action for Oldham Athletic.

Having left Leeds for Oldham on a season-long loan deal last September, McCalmont has highly impressed over his 31 League Two appearances for Keith Curle’s side, scoring eight goals and providing two assists thus far for the Latics.

Leeds have had some odd players over the last ten years but how well do you remember them. Starting with the most recent one, who is this?

The 21-year-old once again impressed in his most recent outing for Oldham, as despite his side ultimately losing the fixture against Leyton Orient 2-1, the Leeds loanee scored a remarkable curling effort from the edge of the box, as well as very nearly setting up the equaliser in the dying moments of the fixture.

And after journalist Adam Millington shared footage of McCalmont’s spectacular strike on Twitter, fans of Leeds flocked to have their say on the matter, with many heaping a considerable amount of praise on the 21-year-old.
